This Special Session explores large-scale 6G trial network platforms as strategic pillars for global innovation. It brings together leading international initiatives—including the EU’s SNS JU 6G-SANDBOX and 6G-SENSES, the UK’s JOINER and TITAN, the Netherlands’ TNO, and Taiwan’s 6G-FORMOSA to discuss modular architectures and cross-border interoperability.
A key highlight features 6G R&D milestones from Taiwanese industry leaders MediaTek, Compal, Pegatron, and TMYTEK, focusing on next-generation BS, UE and antenna innovations. By bridging these industrial advancements with global testbeds, the session demonstrates the synergy between research validation and commercial deployment. Attendees will gain insight into how internationally coordinated infrastructures, supported by robust industry participation, are shaping 6G system architectures and accelerating global standardization.
