Call for Workshops2023-01-27T09:37:16+00:00

Proposals for Workshops are invited by 2023/02/10

A full list of topics is available here.

Workshops may address one or more Tracks, but they should be organised under a unified theme.  Workshops are intended to allow projects or any other group of authors to present their own work.

Workshops may include invited speakers, papers, and panels.  The structure of workshops is not fixed, and proposers may design it as they think best.  Proposers are responsible for defining the full contents of the Workshop, namely the authors and presenters.  It is not expected that open calls for papers are launched for Workshops, in order to attract authors or presenters.

Workshop proposals should be submitted via a specific template, available below.  Proposers should provide information on the Title, Duration, Motivation and Background, Structure, and associated Technical Programme Committee. Additional information on previous editions or promotion plans can also be provided, if applicable.

The proposal must be submitted from 2023 Jan. 2nd until the deadline on 2023 Jan. 27th  Feb. 10th to

The name of the file should be the Workshop title (abbreviated, if necessary).

Workshop papers can be either Presentations, Extended Abstracts (2 pages) or Full Papers (5 pages), and should be reviewed by the Workshop Technical Programme Committee. These papers will be part of the Conference Proceedings (if the authors wish to do so), but they will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

All participants and speakers in the Workshops, regardless of the nature of their presentation, including organisers, must pay the registration fee. Workshop organisers are offered 1 or 2 One Day Registration (R-3-O), respectively, for a half- or full-day Workshop, being up to them to decide who’ll benefit from these free registrations.

Workshops may extend for either a full- or a half-day (i.e., four or two conference times-slots, each time slot being 1h40), and they will be held on the first day of the conference, i.e., June 6th, 2023.

Workshops will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
– Relevance
– Timeliness
– Technical content
– Novelty
– Overall Recommendation
