Valencia Conference Centre Building

EUCNC2019 will take place in the Valencia Conference Centre. The venue is located at the main access to the city from the Northwest, 7 minutes from the international airport of València-Manises and 8 minutes from the city centre and the high-speed train (AVE). Its connection with the rest of the city is excellent by metro, taxi, bus, bicycle and tram.

The Valencia Conference Centre, which was designed by one of the world’s best architects, Norman Foster, its industrial style and bold forms have made it one of the flagship projects in his career. In 1999, the Valencia Conference Centre was named as Best European Building by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and in 2018 it has been chosen for the second time in its history as the World’s Best Convention Centre by the International Association of Conference Centres (AIPC). . It is the perfect building to hold congresses, conventions and exhibitions.

Around the Valencia Conference Centre there is a flourishing business district, with a lot of restaurants and leisure alternatives for visitors.


Valencia Conference Centre from the outside

EuCNC 2019 will take up the whole building of the Conference Centre. The opening, panels, keynotes and closing sessions will take place in one of the main large halls (Auditorium 1 and 2). One spacious foyer in the main ground will be available for exhibitions and coffee breaks, as well as additional capacities for registration desk, poster exhibitions and seating areas. The natural light from the huge glass windows that give access to the gardens make this space a highly pleasant area, in which it is easy to create a favourable climate for networking.
Sessions, workshops and tutorials will take place in several rooms with capacity between 40 and 100 seats located mainly at the first floor.

How to get to the Venue

The Conference Centre is linked to the city through bus routes 62, 63, 99 and N3.

It has metro and tram stations nearby that connect the place with the airport and the Joaquín Sorolla main train station: Metrovalencia lines 1 and 4.

It is easily accessible by bicycle and in the Valenbici public bicycle service.

The Centre is easily accessible by car, thanks to its location on Avda. Cortes Valencianas, one of the main access roads to the city and the main access road to the northwest. Moreover, the building dispose of underground car park with 600 parking spaces and two 1,000 m2 outdoor car parks.
