The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking: Setting the 6G foundations in Europe

This EuCNC and 6G Summit session aims at explaining the objectives, governance, structure, current progress and future steps of the Smart Networks and Services (SNS) Joint Undertaking. The session will provide a brief overview of the SNS Vision and the Roadmap for the European efforts to make 6G networks and advanced services a reality. It will also explain how this Joint Undertaking is linked with the EU policies and objectives. It will also provide information about related national initiatives and how these, together with the SNS JU, can bring a significant multiplier effect in the outcome of the European research efforts. Finally, the session will provide information about the orientations that will set the basis for the second multi-annual R&I SNS WP. Dedicated time will be allocated for a Q&A session with the session participants.
