    Motivation and Background<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    The COMMUNICATE Workstream is a key pillar of the IPCEI ME\/CT initiative, designed to advance innovative semiconductor-based communication technologies in Europe. With 700+ industry and research stakeholders and over \u20ac21B in funding, IPCEI ME\/CT plays a vital role in developing next-generation connectivity solutions, including 5G, 6G, and beyond.This workshop will highlight:- Breakthroughs in microelectronics innovation for communication technologies- The role of secure and energy-efficient data transmission in modern networks- Key challenges in cybersecurity, scalability, and interoperability- How industry players can collaborate with the IPCEI ecosystem
    \nWith Europe\u2019s digital sovereignty and technological leadership at stake, this session aims to foster discussions on future communication infrastructures, policy implications, and real-world applications.By participating in EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025, we aim to contribute to the ongoing discussions on next-generation communication infrastructures, network security, and microelectronics innovation. Our workshop complements the conference\u2019s focus on 5G\/6G advancements, AI-driven connectivity, and semiconductor-driven network evolution by providing insights into how large-scale European initiatives like IPCEI ME\/CT are accelerating these developments. By bringing together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers, we will explore how collaborative efforts can strengthen Europe\u2019s leadership in secure, high-performance, and sustainable communication technologies.<\/p>\n
