{"id":457,"date":"2021-09-01T11:34:27","date_gmt":"2021-09-01T10:34:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.eucnc.eu\/?page_id=457"},"modified":"2022-04-12T08:13:06","modified_gmt":"2022-04-12T08:13:06","slug":"travel-grants","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.eucnc.eu\/registration\/travel-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"Travel Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 fusion-flex-container nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\" style=\"background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0);background-position: center center;background-repeat: no-repeat;border-width: 0px 0px 0px 0px;border-color:#e2e2e2;border-style:solid;\" ><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row fusion-flex-align-items-flex-start\" style=\"max-width:1248px;margin-left: calc(-4% \/ 2 );margin-right: calc(-4% \/ 2 );\"><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-0 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\"><h3><strong>Rules for Students\u2019 Travel Grants<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1 &#8211; EuCNC &amp; 6G Summit awards Travel Grants to students, so that they can attend the conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 &#8211; The Travel Grant consists of the Registration Fee plus a Contribution to Travel Expenses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3 &#8211; The Registration Fee will be corresponding to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">a \u201cLimited Global Registration\u201d (R02), if the student is an author\/co-author of a paper accepted to the conference and is presenting the paper at the conference;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">a \u201cStudent Global Registration\u201d (R07), in all other cases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4 &#8211; The Contribution to Travel Expenses will be the actual travel costs, limited to 500\u00a0\u20ac, for which the student will have to present receipts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5 &#8211; Applications to Travel Grants should be made via EDAS: <a href=\"https:\/\/edas.info\/G.php?g=684\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/edas.info\/G.php?g=684<\/a>. The students are required to upload their Curriculum Vitae, and a copy of their student card or a certificate from their academic institution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6 &#8211; Travel Grants are awarded according to the following priorities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students that are authors\/co-authors of papers accepted to the conference, and are presenting their papers at the conference; the students with papers with a higher mark will be given a higher priority;<\/li>\n<li>Students that are authors\/co-authors of papers accepted to the conference, but are not presenting their papers at the conference;<\/li>\n<li>Ph.D. students that are not authors of papers at the conference;<\/li>\n<li>M.Sc. students that are not authors of papers at the conference;<\/li>\n<li>In each of the categories listed above, priority is given to students studying in European countries, ranking first those from countries that are ranked below 70% of the EU27 average of the composite indicator on Research Excellence;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7 &#8211; The following key dates apply to Travel Grant applications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><del datetime=\"2022-04-12T08:11:32+00:00\">2022 Feb. 11<sup>th<\/sup><\/del><\/strong><\/span>: <\/span>Deadline for submission of Travel Grant applications;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><del datetime=\"2022-04-12T08:11:32+00:00\">2022 Apr. 4<sup>th<\/sup><\/del><\/strong><\/span>:<\/span> Notification of acceptance of Travel Grant applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">8 &#8211; In case the Travel Grant is awarded, the granted applicants will receive a complimentary registration code according to their status: a Student Global Registration (R07) code if the applicant is not presenting a paper, or a Limited Global Registration (R02) code for an author presenting a paper.
