    Motivation and Background<\/h4>\n

    6G will help redefine the way we live, work and even communicate, re-shaping industries and societies and delivering connectivity and intelligence to all users across the globe and creating a more inclusive society. 6G will help us tackle the world\u2019s most pressing sustainability challenges by delivering smarter, more energy-efficient solutions, making the economy more efficient.
    \nWith this session we aim at discussing the main challenges towards sustainability in an ever more connected world and at exploring potential venues towards increasing efficiency across the board, from the underlying networks to the entities they connect.<\/p>\n

    • What are the biggest disruptions and challenges in technologies on the way towards sustainability?<\/li>\n
    • What are the key new enabling technologies in the areas of network management, including functionality virtualization and delocalization, to drive down energy consumption?<\/li>\n

    • What roles will machine learning and artificial intelligence play in managing resources in an anticipatory rather than reactive way?<\/li>\n
    • How to co-design and jointly manage network and end-user equipment to minimize energy consumption?<\/li>\n
    • What will our industry look like 10 years from now with the growing focus on sustainability?<\/li>\n
    • How to better convey the message that Telecom is a driver and enabler of sustainability?<\/li>\n
    • How can 6G connectivity help bridge the digital gap and ensure accessibility to all whilst ensuring sustainability?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
