What is EuCNC’2018?

EuCNC 2018 is the 27th edition of a successful series of a technical conference in the field of telecommunications, sponsored by the European Commission.  The conference focuses on aspects including 5G communications systems and networks, cloud platforms, management technologies, and applications and services.  It targets to bring together researchers as well as industries and practitioners from all over the world.

EuCNC 2018 is being organised jointly by the University of Ljubljana and Jožef Stefan Institute.  The last two editions, held in Athens (Greece) in 2016 and Oulu (Finland) in 2017, have each gathered more than 600 delegates and 40 exhibitors, hence making this event one of the most prominent ones in the field.

This edition of the conference will be about 5G in vertical industries, experimentation in real world and results and lessons learned from first 5G deployments.  European H2020 5G Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects’ results will be showcased and the event will facilitate discussions about opportunities to leverage on recent 5G advancements in order to support rollout of 5G in various verticals, such as smart cities, automotive, public protection and disaster relief, smart mobility, digital health, and more.

Venue

The conference will be held at the Cultural and Congress Centre CANKARJEV DOM in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from Monday, June 18th to Thursday, June 21st, 2018.

The event will feature also a large exhibition of technologies, products and results from European Commission co-funded projects.  Prominent research institutions, SMEs as well as large industries from Europe and other parts of the world will be there.

Why should you be a Patron of EuCNC 2018?

Patronage Packages

A number of different patronage packages and options have been set up, so as to match the specific needs of your company/institution.  Patrons will receive a range of benefits designed to raise the profile of their organisation at the conference and beyond.  A list of patronage packages and options follows.  However, if your organisation would like a customised package, we will gladly tailor the benefits to match your needs.

Notes:

(1)   The exhibition booth will be equipped as follows:

  • white partitions (Octanorm system, white panels, dimensions 210 cm x 100 cm)
  • a banner sign (dimensions 200 cm x 40 cm) with company name and stand number included
  • lighting (2 spotlights)
  • 2 kW electrical power supply with 3 sockets each
  • 1 table, 2 chairs, 1 trash can

(2)    Your logo and a link to your company will be posted on the patrons and sponsors page of the website.  You will be requested to send us the company’s logo in high and low definition (in JPEG and EPS) formats, and the URL link to your company’s website.

(3)    The conference programme and the conference proceedings (in USB) will be included in the conference bag, and distributed to all participants upon check-in.

(4)    Each complimentary registration corresponds to a Full Global Registration (R01), which includes:

  • Workshops/Tutorials Sessions and Proceedings
  • Workshops/Tutorials Lunch and Coffee Breaks
  • Conference Sessions and Proceedings
  • Conference Lunches and Coffee Breaks
