Call for Workshops
Proposals for Workshops are invited in all Tracks (a full list of topics is available here):
- Air interfaces.
- Optical communications/networks.
- Software defined infrastructures
- Management technologies.
- Converging concepts
- Business aspects, vertical sectors, applications/services.
- Testbeds and experiments.
Workshops may address one or more Tracks, but they should be organised under a unified theme. Workshops are intended to allow projects or any other group of authors to present their own work.
Workshops may include invited speakers, papers, and panels. The structure of workshops is not fixed, and proposers may design it as they think best. Proposers are responsible for defining the full contents of the Workshop, namely the authors and presenters. It is not expected that open calls for papers are launched for Workshops, in order to attract authors or presenters.
Workshop papers can be either Presentations, Extended Abstracts (2 pages) or Full Papers (5 pages), and should be reviewed by the Workshop Technical Programme Committee. These papers will be part of the Conference Proceedings (if the authors wish to do so), but they will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore.
All participants and speakers in the Workshops, regardless of the nature of their presentation, including organisers, must pay the registration fee.
Workshops may extend for either a full- or a half-day, and they will be held in the day previous to conference start, i.e., June 27th, 2016.
Workshops will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
- Technical content
- Overall Recommendation
Workshop proposals should be submitted via a specific template, available here. Proposers should provide information on the Title, Duration, Motivation and Background, Structure, and associated Technical Programme Committee. Additional information on previous editions or promotion plans can also be provided, if applicable.
The proposal should be submitted by the deadline, 2016 Feb.
05 26 (deadline extended, hard deadline), to Ms. Yiouli Kritikou, email@example.com. The name of the file should be the Workshop title (abbreviated, if necessary)
